No worries, the people at BioRex Cinemas and Gilda have taken this into account: valid BioRex vouchers and gift tickets are accepted at Gilda’s until 31 October 2025. Please note that you must exchange your BioRex ticket for a screening-specific movie ticket at Gilda’s box office.
Gilda Cinema is located right in the heart of Helsinki, in the Lasipalatsikortteli. There are entrances both on Narinkka square (Narinkka 2) and Lasipalatsi square. Gilda operates in the Kulttuurikasarmi building, formerly known as the old bus station, where you can also find Henry’s Distillery, Henry’s Music Bar, and Kasarmi Café.
Gilda Cinema is located near the Kamppi metro station. It also takes less than 10 minutes to walk from Helsinki Central Railway Station to the theatre. Public transport connections are very good, and we recommend using them. The nearest tram stops are Lasipalatsi and Simonkatu.
We publish our upcoming showtimes on Sundays – all movie screenings for the next ten days will go on sale at the same time. Therefore, showtimes are usually not available several weeks beforehand.
Yes. When accompanied by an adult guardian, the age restrictions are flexible and children three years younger than the set limit are allowed in. The one exception to this are movies with the age limit of 18 years, which are only allowed to adults.
All Gilda auditoriums have the licence to serve alcohol, but there are no auditorium-specific age restrictions. The age limit for each screening is determined by the rating of the film. The Bio Rex Lasipalatsi auditorium is prohibited for people under the age of 18 due to liquor licence limitations!
Movie tickets can be returned or exchanged before the screening by phone or at the theatre box office. After the screening time, returns or exchanges can no longer be made. When refunded, the money is always returned using the original payment method, so if you have bought the tickets at the box office, you should also return them there.
Unfortunately, the validity period of gift tickets and vouchers cannot be extended. However, the tickets can be used for any available screening, even those scheduled after the validity period, as long as you exchange the voucher for a screening-specific ticket no later than its last day of validity.
